The Hoover cordless vac was expensive as compared to others but it is the family favorite (we have Black and Decker and Shark sweeper). Bought the Hoover at Costco. May buy another if it is on special sale. The spare battery is great if you're really to fork out the money. We just run the Hoove The 18-volt Lithium battery is interchangeable with all Linx units. The 3 hour charge time gives you a quick turnaround time if needed. Contains no heavy metals. And it is Energy Star Rated. Comes with a two year warranty.
